What’s a Skidsteer and What does it do?

A skid loader, also known as a skid-steer loader, SSL, or skidsteer, belongs to a class of compact heavy equipment featuring lift arms capable of attaching to a diverse range of buckets and other useful tools or attachments.

Skid-steer loaders are typically either four-wheeled or tracked vehicles. They possess mechanically linked front and back wheels on each side, enabling them to turn at the same speed. Additionally, they have independent transmissions for the left-side and right-side wheels, granting the ability to drive the left-side wheels separately from the right-side wheels.
